Dedicated Development Team Services
One accountable team for your whole product: developers, a designer, and a product manager under a single roadmap — month-to-month terms, direct access to the engineers, working software every week or two, assembled in weeks, not months.

About the Service
A dedicated development team is the simplest deal we offer: a squad of developers, a UI/UX designer, and a product manager that works on your product and nothing else, on month-to-month terms. That is not five freelancers sharing a chat — it is one accountable unit with its own delivery process, one person to talk to, and a shared definition of done. The squad starts within weeks, not the months a hiring round takes, and arrives with the habits already built: code review, testing, monitoring, and a steady release rhythm. It is one of four engagement models in our software development services — this page is for deciding whether it is the right one.
The distinction that matters is with staff augmentation — we offer both, so we have no reason to blur it. Staff augmentation rents you individual engineers: they join your team, follow your process, and answer to your managers, and responsibility for delivery stays with you. A dedicated team carries that responsibility itself. The product manager runs planning and delivery, the squad owns quality end to end, and what you manage is priorities and budget — not people. If you have strong engineering management and just need more hands, staff augmentation is cheaper — and we will tell you so. Pay for a dedicated team when you want outcomes owned, not seats filled.
The engagement runs on a roadmap, not a specification frozen a year in advance. You bring business priorities; the product manager turns them into a scoped, estimated plan; the squad ships a build you can click every week or two, so the plan is corrected by a live product instead of paperwork. You get direct access to the engineers — questions go to the person writing the code — and full visibility into staging, repositories, and tickets. The delivery backbone behind this — discovery, rituals, launch, support — is described in how we work; a dedicated team runs that backbone continuously instead of once.
Two situations where this is the wrong model. If the project is short and the scope genuinely fixed — a scoped MVP, a chatbot, a single integration — a fixed-price build gives you a budget and a deadline without paying for a standing team. If the work is a capacity gap inside an existing engineering organization, staff augmentation fills it with less ceremony. A dedicated team earns its keep when the roadmap is longer than the specification: a product that keeps evolving for quarters, under one team that accumulates context instead of relearning it.
Proof for a month-to-month model has to be renewal — clients who could leave any month and choose not to. Since 2017 our squads have shipped software for clients in 8 countries, and 3 out of 4 of them return with their next project; that return rate, not the contract, is what holds this model together. What squad ownership looks like in practice: borisdoes, a freelance marketplace we built as lead developers — task flows, real-time messaging, quoting and invoicing, and marketing automation, one team across all of it. The first call ends with an honest recommendation — even when it is not this page.
What is included in the service?
Squad assembly
We staff the squad from our own senior engineers — typically two backend and two frontend developers, a UI/UX designer, and a product manager — sized to your roadmap and working only on your product from day one.
Roadmap & rituals
You set the priorities; the product manager turns them into a living roadmap with estimates. Planning, demos, and retrospectives run on a fixed rhythm — you always know what shipped, what is next, and what it costs.
Direct access
The product manager is a single point of contact, not a wall. You talk to the engineers and the designer directly — in your chat or ours — with no account manager translating between you and the people doing the work.
Working software cadence
Deployable increments weekly or biweekly: you review the live product in staging, not a slide deck. Course corrections happen between iterations as a planning decision, not a contract renegotiation.
Scaling the squad
Add a developer for a heavy quarter, drop to a maintenance pair after a big release — the squad resizes month to month with a few weeks' notice, without a hiring cycle or a new contract.
Knowledge & documentation
Product knowledge lives in artifacts, not in one person's head: documented architecture decisions, onboarding docs, tested code, and tracked tickets — so the squad survives vacations, rotations, and your future audit.
Month-to-month terms
No annual lock-in. The engagement renews monthly with a clear notice period, which keeps the pressure where it belongs — on us, to earn the renewal every month.
Transition options
If you later build an in-house team, handover is a planned phase, not an abrupt end: documentation, pair onboarding for your hires, a gradual ramp-down — or we stay on as the support squad behind your team.
With us, you get not just development, but a reliable technology partner ensuring your business success.
